The Pakistan Way
From Wahab’s reverse swinging spell to Sohail’s 5-fer. Whether it was Amir dismantling the Indian top 3 twice or the 152–0 infamous run chase by Babar and Rizwan, Pakistan fans have seen it all against India. Who can forget Lala’s sixes to Ashwin in the last over to seal the win?
Although the tensions and emotions might remain the same, the biggest difference now is the confidence that the players have in themselves, and the country has in their superstars. The calm that is present now translates to the efforts of everyone involved in creating a trusting environment where the players give their best irrespective of the outcomes, and the nation backs them every step of the way.
The players realize the onus is on them to deliver but they no longer have the fear of failure or getting dropped, this itself shows that we have come a long way. This deck of cards is different to its predecessors, it is not only tough to tumble it, but it reconstructs and restructures itself the same way after every fall. THIS IS THE “PAKISTAN WAY”
So whatever happens next, we must remember that it took a lot for all involved to establish this nurturing atmosphere and nothing can or should make it go away!
PAKISTAN ZINDABAD!!!
